K1 Mary chose to sit at Jesus’ feet and listen. What might it look like for you to “take time” to know Jesus in the middle of your busy life?

K2 Martha was distracted by many good things. In what ways do we let even good activities pull us away from the better choice of being with Jesus?



Grow

G1 It’s often easier to do for Jesus than to be with Him. How can being part of a group help us learn to pause and listen like Mary?

G2. The example of others matters. Share about a time when someone else’s example of choosing Jesus encouraged you to do the same. How can we encourage each other in this?

G3 Martha was serving—but missing something. How can we make sure our serving flows out of time with Jesus, rather than becoming a substitute for it?
