Wives have a critically important part to play the revelation of Christ to the world, through marriage, and submission is part of it. First of all, the Bible calls us to mutual submission, motivated by the fear of God, not the fear of man. When a woman fears God, she will honor and submit to her husband, and through love, she will draw her husband closer to the heart of the Father.
