读经学英语 Reading the Gospel with Foreigners 

A reading from the holy Gospel according to John 
恭读圣若望福音  1:35-42

John was standing with two of his disciples,
那时候，若翰和他的两个门徒，站在那里；

and as he watched Jesus walk by, he said,
若翰看见耶稣走过，便注视着耶稣，说：

“Behold, the Lamb of God.”
“看，天主的羔羊！”

The two disciples heard what he said and followed Jesus.
那两个门徒听见若翰说这话，便跟随了耶稣。

Jesus turned and saw them 
following him and said to them,
耶稣转过身来，看见他们跟着，
便问他们说：

“What are you looking for?”
“你们找什么？”

They said to him, “Rabbi” 
— which translated means Teacher —,
他们回答说：“辣彼！──意即师父──

“where are you staying?” 
你住在那里？”

He said to them, “Come, and you will see.”
耶稣对他们说：“你们来看看吧！”

So they went and saw where Jesus was staying,
于是他们去了，看见了耶稣住的地方；

and they stayed with him that day.
就在那天，在耶稣那里住下。

It was about four in the afternoon.
那时，大约是第十时辰。

Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter,
西满伯多禄的哥哥安德肋，

was one of the two who heard John 
and followed Jesus.
就是听了若翰的话，
而跟随了耶稣的那两人中的一个，

He first found his own brother Simon
 and told him,
先去找到了自己的弟弟西满，并向他说：

“We have found the Messiah” 
— which is translated Christ —.
“我们找到了默西亚（意即基督）。”

Then he brought him to Jesus.
于是带他到耶稣面前。

Jesus looked at him and said,
耶稣注视着他，说：

“You are Simon the son of John;
“你是若望的儿子西满，

you will be called Cephas” 
— which is translated Peter.
你要叫‘刻法’（意即伯多禄）。”

Hello brothers and sisters. My name is Frankie. I am from the United States. 
What stood out to me from this passage from John is the following verse: 
本篇福音中，我印象最深的一段话是：

He first found his own brother Simon and told him,
他先去找到了自己的弟弟西满，并向他说：
“We have found the Messiah” 
— which is translated Christ —.
“我们找到了默西亚（意即基督）。”
Then he brought him to Jesus.
于是带他到耶稣面前。

Brothers and sisters, thank you for listening to God’s Word today. 
主内的兄弟姐妹们，感谢你们聆听天主圣言。

I pray that each of you and your families are blessed deeply by the Lord. 
我为大家祈祷，愿上主降福你们每一位和你们的家人。


It is a joy to share with you in the love of God’s Word.
在圣言的爱内与大家一同分享，让我感到十分高兴。

From this passage, I am led to reflect on prayerful intercession for the salvation of our own families.
从这篇福音中，我被引导去思考为家人的得救代祷。

We see that when Andrew met Jesus, he immediately found his brother, Peter, and brought him to Jesus. 
我们可以看到，当安德肋见到耶稣时，他立刻找到他的弟弟伯多禄，并把他带到耶稣面前。

Pray for your families – your own brothers and sisters and parents. 
为你的家人祈祷，为你的兄弟姐妹和父母祈祷。

Bring them to Christ through your prayers.
通过你的代祷，将他们带至天主面前。

Ask the Holy Spirit “Who are you asking me to bring to you today?” And pray for them.
恳请天主圣神，要我把谁带到天主台前。

My prayer for you is that you may know Jesus Christ more deeply, and know His great love for you in all areas of your own life, that we may all share his saving love to the world.
我为你们祈祷，愿大家能更深刻的认识耶稣基督，在生活的方方面面都能体会到他对我们爱，愿我们将他救赎的爱传播到世界各地。
