Reading the gospel with foreigners

亲爱的听众朋友们，主内平安！欢迎回到读经学英语。今天教会庆祝基督圣体圣血节，提醒我们耶稣亲临于圣体圣血中，我们藉着圣体圣事，与耶稣结合，并与所有信众一起团体共融，合力建树教会。接下来，让我们跟随Katherine老师的诵读，共同学习主日福音。

Mk 14:12-16, 22-26 
恭读圣马尔谷福音14:12-16,22-26

On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, 
when they sacrifificed the Passover lamb, 
Jesus’ disciples said to him, 
"Where do you want us to go 
and prepare for you to eat the Passover?" 
无酵节的第一天，
即宰杀逾越节羔羊的那一天，
门徒对耶稣说：
“你愿意我们到那里，
给你预备吃逾越节晚餐？”

He sent two of his disciples and said to them, 
"Go into the city and a man will meet you, 
carrying a jar of water. 
Follow him. 
耶稣就打发两个门徒，对他们说：
“你们往城里去，必有一个拿着水罐的人，
迎面而来，你们就跟着他走；

Wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, 
The Teacher says, "Where is my guest room 
where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?"' 
他无论进入那里，你们就对那家主说：
师父问：我同我的门徒，
吃逾越节晚餐的客厅在那里？

Then he will show you a large upper room furnished and ready. 
Make the preparations for us there." 
他必指给你们一间铺设好的宽大楼厅，
你们就在那里，为我们预备吧！”

The disciples then went off, entered the city, 
and found it just as he had told them; 
and they prepared the Passover. 
门徒去了，来到城里，所遇见的，
正如耶稣给他们所说的；
他们就预备了逾越节晚餐。

While they were eating, 
he took bread, said the blessing, 
broke it, gave it to them, and said, 
"Take it; this is my body." 
他们正吃的时候，
耶稣拿起饼来，祝福了，
擘开，递给他们说：
“你们拿去吃吧！这是我的身体。”

Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, 
and they all drank from it. 
耶稣又拿起杯来，祝谢了，递给他们；
他们都从那杯喝了。

He said to them, 
"This is my blood of the covenant, 
which will be shed for many. 
耶稣对他们说：
“这是我的血，盟约的血，
为大众而倾流的。

Amen, I say to you, 
I shall not drink again the fruit of the vine 
until the day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God." 
我实在告诉你们：
我决不再喝这葡萄汁了，
直到我在天主的国里，喝新酒的那天。”

Then, after singing a hymn, 
they went out to the Mount of Olives.
他们唱完圣咏，
就出来，往橄榄山去。

Hello, Chinese Friends！My name is Katherine and I am speaking to you from the United States of America.
中国的朋友们你们好！我是来自美国的Katherine。

The sentence from the gospel passage we will focus on today read at normal speed is: 
在本周的福音中，需要我们关注且常速跟读的句子是:

While they were eating, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, gave it to them, and said, "Take it; this is my body.” 
他们正吃的时候，耶稣拿起饼来，祝福了，擘开，递给他们说：“你们拿去吃吧！这是我的身体。”

This passage shares some very important words of Jesus for our faith as Catholics. 
这段经文记载了耶稣对教友们信德的一些重要教导。

Jesus himself is telling his followers and all of us who read his words, that He is the new sacrifice. 
耶稣是在亲自告诉他的追随者，以及我们所有读过他话语的人，他就是新的祭品。

Through his death on the cross, He is saving us from our sins so we can lead a life with Him and in Him while here on earth and a life with Him for eternity upon death. 
因他在十字架上的牺牲，他将我们从罪中拯救出来，使我们在地上能与他一起且在他内生活，并在死后与他一同获享永生。

We are creatures with a body and a soul and faith in Jesus is the only way to save our soul. 
我们是有身体和灵魂的受造物，信赖耶稣是拯救我们灵魂的唯一途径。

He gave up His body so that he could save our souls, we must partake of His body and blood. 
他舍去他的身体来拯救我们的灵魂，我们必须领受他的圣体和圣血
。
Dear Chinese friends, always remember that when you partake of the body and blood of Christ, you are uniting with his humanity so you may one day share in His divinity. 
亲爱的中国朋友们，请永远记住，当你领受基督的圣体与圣血时，你是与祂的人性结合，为能有朝一日分享祂的天主性。
