Covering my 4 most recent diagnoses - autism, ADHD, BPD & dissociative disorder. Explaining how the system let me down in my first assessment, where I walked away with neither an autism nor ADHD diagnosis.. and how I slowly worked up the strength to go back and advocate for myself a second time. So many late-diagnosed people can relate to the invalidation I experienced - I hope this gives you hope if you've been let down by professionals.

A reminder that self-diagnosis is so valid, I knew I had BPD and a dissociative disorder long before any professionals brought it up with me. No one knows you better than you know yourself, and the neurodivergent community is here to back you <3
