On today’s episode of the Soul Connection Duo Podcast, we connect with Dominiece Clifton. Dominiece entered the wellness industry with the desire to guide others to healing after struggling with and releasing her own childhood trauma. Dominiece promotes emotional wellbeing and provides wellness education using body-centered approaches to healing including yoga, meditation, and breathwork. Her mission is to help educate people about effective ways to manage stress and release trauma stored in the body.
Our conversation with Dominiece explores prevalent topics, such as the long-term effects of stress on the mind, body and spirit, as well as healing intergenerational trauma stored in the body. Dominiece shares her grandmother's story and some of the ways in which she has uncovered healing in her lineage through knowing and following the experiences of her ancestors, and she serves with her maternal grandmother in mind. We also talk about soul care vs. self care, trusting and appreciating the healing process, as well as the three sections from her book: releasing, reconnecting, and remembering.
