大家好，欢迎来到读经学英语。本周迎来了常年期第十二主日，我们再次邀请老朋友Annika为我们带来“耶稣平息风浪”的福音诵读及心得分享。

A reading from the holy gospel according to Mark
恭读圣马尔谷福音4：35-41
 On that day, as evening drew on, Jesus said to his disciples, “Let us cross to the other side.” 
有一天晚上，耶稣对门徒说：“我们渡海到对岸去罢！”

Leaving the crowd, they took Jesus with them in the boat just as he was. And other boats were with him.
他们就离开群众，耶稣已经在船上，他们就载他走了；和他在一起的还有别的小船。

A violent squall came up and waves were breaking over the boat so that it was already filling up.
忽然，狂风大作，波浪打进船内，小船就积满了水。

Jesus was in the stern, asleep on a cushion. They woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?”
耶稣却在船尾靠着枕头睡着了。他们叫醒他，对他说：“老师！我们要淹死了，你不管吗？”

He woke up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!” The wind ceased and there was great calm.
耶稣醒来，斥责了风，又对海说：“不要作声，静下来！”突然间就风平浪静了。

Then he asked them, “Why are you terrified? Do you not yet have faith?”
耶稣对门徒说：“你们为什么这样胆怯？怎么还没有信德呢？”

They were filled with great awe and said to one another, “Who then is this whom even wind and sea obey?”
他们非常惧怕，彼此说：“这人到底是谁？连风和海洋都听从他。”

Greetings to my Chinese friends my name is Annika and I am from the United States of America. I work as a wedding photographer in Rochester Minnesota. 
中国的朋友们，你们好！我叫Annika，来自美国。我在明尼苏达州的罗切斯特市担任婚礼摄影师。

One difficult word in today's gospel is the word “squall”
今天，福音中一个困难的词是 "squall"
 In the word squall since the q is followed by a u. they use sounds like a W.. Will. 
在这个词中，因为q后面是u，所以他们发W.. Will的音。

He woke up, rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!” The wind ceased and there was great calm.
耶稣醒来，斥责了风，又对海说：“不要作声，静下来！”突然间就风平浪静了。

In today’s gospel, Jesus’ disciples are confronted with a great storm while they are at sea. They call out to Jesus and he quiets the storm by saying “Quiet, be still” .
在今天的福音中，耶稣的门徒在海上遇到了一场大风暴。他们呼唤耶稣，耶稣说："不要作声，平静吧！"，使风暴平息下来。

In our lives, we are often faced with many storms. From this gospel, we learn that when we are confronted with tribulation we should call out to Jesus to bring peace in our lives. Once we do this we should have faith and trust that Jesus will calm our hearts.
在我们的生活中，我们经常面临许多风暴。从这篇福音中我们了解到，当我们遇到磨难时，我们应该呼唤耶稣，给我们的生活带来和平。一旦我们这样做，我们应该有信心，相信耶稣会使我们的心平静下来。

In this passage, we learn that Jesus has power over everything. And even though sometimes we don’t know how to pray Jesus knows what we need”
我们了解到，耶稣有能力战胜一切。尽管有时我们不知道如何祈祷，但耶稣知道我们需要什么。”

通过Annika的分享，我们可以明显感受到，已经跟随耶稣多时的门徒们仍然是信德不足。在危难临头时，他们胆怯了，他们非常害怕自己会丢失性命，所以他们在惊恐中叫醒耶稣的口吻除了呼求，已经带上了指责的意味。而当他们亲眼目睹耶稣的奇迹后，第一反应仍是震撼和惧怕，还不能了解到耶稣究竟是谁。但这并不足为奇，平心而论，我们不也是如此？不妨问问自己，我们跟随耶稣的时间有多长呢？我们是否也在不断请求奇迹来确认？是否有与困苦共存的平心和勇气？是否在危难中怀有希望和信德的目光？然后生活会告诉我们，等待出美果！耶稣能够以祂的大能在任何困难中把人拯救出来。请记住，无论风浪多大多猛，留在祂身旁。因为只有祂的力量超越一切。唯独用信德的眼光才能看见！
