Since Sharon's death, George has made it his mission to advocate for people with Parkinson's disease and their caregivers. George discusses his books, advocacy, and community efforts his organization Together for Sharon has made to create a movement to both support patients with PD and their families and to work towards a cure for PD. George discusses the challenges and the rapid progression of the disease, as well as the importance of exercise in managing Parkinson's symptoms. George emphasizes the need for awareness and support for those affected by Parkinson's and the importance of not feeling alone in the fight against the disease.
