Story Transcript:

Ja: 秋の風が冷たく、赤やオレンジ、黄色に色づいた落ち葉がカーペットのように地面を覆っている。
En: The autumn wind was chilly, and the fallen leaves, colored in red, orange, and yellow, covered the ground like a carpet.

Ja: そんな大学の寮は、勤労感謝の日の連休を前に学生たちで賑わっていた。
En: The university dormitory was bustling with students getting ready for the Kinrō Kansha no Hi holiday.

Ja: 晴人は机に向かい、頑張って勉強していた。
En: Haruto was sitting at his desk, working hard on his studies.

Ja: 彼は大学の講義とアルバイトに一生懸命で、気を抜く暇がなかった。
En: He was devoted to both his university lectures and part-time job, with no time to relax.
