Bhutans Gelephu Mindfulness City launches gold-backed digital token, TER, on Solana blockchain, accessible only through DK Bank. Matrixdock provides technical setup, aligning with Bhutans values of openness, sustainability, and careful management. This move follows Bhutans involvement in Bitcoin mining since 2019 and its partnership with Binance Pay for cryptocurrency tourism payments. Bhutan also integrated its National Digital Identity platform with Ethereum, making it the first country to anchor its national identity system on a public blockchain.
