Publisher's Summary:
On the trail of malevolent space pirates, Curt Newton and the Futuremen combat the evil machinations of the Uranian Ru Ghur, who plans the total destruction of the Universe!
The Futuremen, the trio that battles injustice alongside Captain Future, all have their origins in the Moon Laboratory that is both home and headquarters to Captain Future. Referred to as a citadel of science, the Moon Laboratory is designed in a circular fashion and contains quarters for the Futuremen. A reference library containing the vast knowledge of the universe, the Brain's personal lab, a large room that serves as both workspace and social area with a glassite window as ceiling and many other rooms, make up the Moon Laboratory, definitely the perfect place for an interplanetary hero to call his own.
Grag is most definitely the brawn of the Futuremen. A robot constructed by the Brain and Captain Future's father, Grag stands over seven feet tall and may be the strongest creation in the solar system. Constructed of inert metal, Grag is almost indestructible and powered by atomic energy deep in his chest. Grag's greatest desire is to be considered human, a point that Otho tends to agitate him over again and again, leading to some of the funniest moments in the stories.
Truly one of a kind, Otho is a unique android created by Captain Future's father and the Brain. The synthetic man does not naturally resemble an Earthman, but Otho is well known for his mastery of disguise, a skill that has been useful for Captain Future on many occasions. Otho also is faster and more nimble than nearly any other being alive. Otho also enjoys the danger of each mission they undertake, almost as much as he likes to antagonize the humorless Grag about not being human.
Rocket into science fiction adventure and discover new worlds. Ripped from the pages of the Winter 1946 issue of Captain Future magazine, Outlaw World is read with wonder and excitement by Milton Bagby.
