In this episode of the Yoga Punx Unite podcast, I chat with guitarist and vocalist of Laughing in the Face Of, Steve Lowry, about their upcoming release ‘Here Lies Ordinary’.  We also dive into how the process of writing music can be a cathartic approach to dealing with the stresses of life, what it’s like to take a fully DIY approach to writing an album and how sometimes, time and space can change lyrics.  Laughing in the Face Of (more affectionately known as LITFO) excel in tight melodic hardcore, riddled with hooks, riffs, and headbangin’ breaks.  On the new record, LITFO delivers a commentary on the labours of adult life, being trodden down in uninspiring jobs, working through broken relationships and dealing with the mental health strain that they create.
