The birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Messiah, is what we celebrate on Christmas Day. This is the single most critical moment in human history. God loves you so much He sent His uniquely born Son to pay for your sin. “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Cor 2:21 ). Jesus Christ came to this world and was born to die to solve our sin problem. There were three distinct announcements of our Lord’s birth in Scripture. All were done by a special, supernatural visit by an angel, once in a dream and two times face-to-face. God continues to divulge supernatural things to us today, but not through angels. He communicates to us through His Word, the Bible.
