Bitterness is a harsh, hostile attitude that results from arrogant reactions and sometimes becomes a source of habitual carnality in your life. Bitterness pollutes your thinking. You can't glorify God with bitterness in your soul’s mentality. “See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God, that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it, many be defiled” (Heb 12:5). “Do all things without grumbling or disputing” (Phil 2:14 ). Bitterness is one of the greatest forms of arrogance you can get into because it feeds on self-justification. A habitual complainer is bitter, and you have no right to complain about anything. God wants you to share His happiness. Don’t allow bitterness to destroy your happiness.
