Jeremiah 3:12 –13 (ESV) – “Go, and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, ‘Return, faithless Israel, declares the Lord. I will not look on you in anger, for I am merciful, declares the Lord; I will not be angry forever. Only acknowledge your guilt, that you rebelled against the Lord your God…’”

Sin doesn’t just affect our hearts—it affects the world around us. In Jeremiah’s time, even the rains stopped because of the people’s sin and idolatry. But in the middle of judgment, God’s mercy shines through. He calls His people to come home again, promising forgiveness and restoration.

In this episode of Daily Devotions with Pastor Sumrall, we see that no matter how far we’ve strayed, God’s invitation remains the same: “Come home to Me again.” All He asks is that we acknowledge our sin, admit our rebellion, confess it, and return to Him. When we do, we’ll always find mercy waiting.
