Jeremiah 2:4–5, 29 (ESV) – “Hear the word of the Lord, O house of Jacob, and all the clans of the house of Israel. Thus says the Lord: ‘What wrong did your fathers find in me that they went far from me… Why do you contend with me? You have all transgressed against me,’ declares the Lord.”

Sometimes, people begin to sit in judgment on God—questioning His fairness, His timing, or His ways. But as the Lord said through Jeremiah, it’s never God who does wrong; it’s people who turn away. When we start finding fault with God, that’s when our hearts begin to drift. Just as Satan tempted Eve to doubt God’s goodness, he still uses the same tactic today.

In this episode of Daily Devotions with Pastor Sumrall, we learn that no matter what happens or what we don’t understand, God is always right, always good, and always faithful. Choose to trust Him completely—His mercy endures forever.
