Proverbs 18:8 (ESV) – “The words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels; they go down into the inner parts of the body.”

Not all words are worth listening to. Some conversations build us up, while others quietly tear relationships apart. Proverbs warns that gossip—those “dainty morsels” of rumor—sinks deep into our hearts, shaping how we think and feel about others. It may seem harmless at first, but gossip plants seeds of strife and can even separate close friends.
