Ep- 442 The Most Powerful Daily Move That You Can Make
Description
This week, I’m sharing something really personal—my journey of recovery after major surgery and what it’s taught me about movement, healing, and asking for help (ugh, the hardest part, right?). Being forced to slow down was humbling, frustrating, and surprisingly enlightening. I couldn’t do the things I usually do to take care of everyone else, and that forced me to finally start taking care of me.
I talk about the mental rollercoaster of not feeling like myself, the emotional weight of not being able to move freely, and how finding tiny, doable ways to stay active slowly brought me back to life. Spoiler alert: I didn’t run a marathon. I did walk to the mailbox and call it a win.
This episode is for anyone who’s ever felt stuck, off track, or just plain exhausted. Movement doesn’t have to be a big sweaty production—it can be gentle, joyful, and exactly what your body and soul need.
If you’ve been going through something hard, or just need a reminder that baby steps are still steps, you’re not alone. Come join me in this messy, beautiful recovery story. I promise it comes with laughs, real talk, and a whole lot of heart.
