This week sees Gemma and Rachel riff about how they each use meditation, different meditation forms such as gratitude meditations, crystal meditations, walking meditations,, guided meditations, group meditations, hypnotic states, etc., and the benefits from different meditation experiences and practices.
We talk about using meditation for:
- Connection to higher self and Source
- Spirit guide connection
- Theta healing and 7th plane connection
- Breath work
- Cord cutting and gratitude
- Working with crystals
- Chakra work
- Visualisation
- Sound healing - using sound bowls, tibetan bowls, gongs, and tuning forks
Gemma also talks listeners through how she conducts her meditation classes and gives tips to people on how to hold their own classes. Some of the tips and what works for Gemma include:
- Telling people what to expect (i.e. breathwork, yoga nidra, visualisation) and when
- Advising attendees on how to know when it’s finished to limit mind chatter
- Starting with breath work
- Focusing on the exhale of breath as well as the inhale
- Considering the depth of meditation
- Healing within meditation
