On this episode we review Nacho Vigalondo's homage to monster movies, 2016's Colossal starring Anne Hathaway as the alcoholic Gloria. You see, Gloria is at a point in her life where everything is just turning into a colossal... heap of poop. Not only is she kicked out by her boyfriend Tim for drinking and always coming home in the early hours of the morning hungover, but now that she has somewhere to stay, she doesn't have any furniture what so ever, or a job, or even an idea... then to top it all off, there's a chance she might be unintentionally controlling a monster on the other side of the world... so there's that. So join Brandon Reid and Effin Stephan as they go through this oddball of a movie and try to count how many metaphors there really are. Because even if unintentionally, there seem to be quite a few!
