A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John

恭读圣若望福音15:1-8

Jesus said to his disciples:

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower. 

那时候，耶稣对祂的门徒们说：

“我是真葡萄树，我父是园丁。

He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit,

and every one that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit.

所有属于我而不结果实的枝子，祂便剪掉；

所有结果实的，祂就修剪，使它结更多的果实；

You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you.

你们因我对你们所讲的话，已是清洁的了。

Remain in me, as I remain in you.

Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own

unless it remains on the vine,

so neither can you unless you remain in me.

你们住在我内，我也住在你们内。

枝子若不连在葡萄树上，凭自己就不能结果实；

同样，你们若不住在我内，也不能结果实。

I am the vine, you are the branches.

Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit,

because without me you can do nothing.

我是葡萄树，你们是枝子；

谁住在我内，我也住在他内，他就结许多果实：

因为离了我，你们什么都不能作。

Anyone who does not remain in me

will be thrown out like a branch and wither;

people will gather and throw them into a fire

and they will be burned.

谁若不住在我内，

就像枝子丢在外面而枯干了，

有人便把它拾起来，投在火中烧掉了。

If you remain in me and my words remain in you,

ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you.

你们如果住在我内，我的话也存在你们内，

那么，你们无论想要什么，

尽管求罢，就会给你们成就。

By this is my Father glorified,

that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.”

只要你们多结果实，并且成为我的门徒，

这就是我父的光荣。

福音反思 

In this Gospel, Jesus shows how much we need to stay close to Him and to be filled with His life and His joy. 

在这篇福音中，耶稣揭示了我们是多么需要与祂保持紧密联系，并被祂的生命和快乐所充满。

A keyword in this passage is the word “remain”, it means to stay in a place, to live in a place. When Jesus calls us to remain in Him, He is calling us to live our lives with him, to do all we do with Him, the small things we do every day and the big things. Everything should be done with Jesus in love and joy. 

这段经文中的一个关键词是 "存留"，它意味着留在一个地方，住在一个地方。当耶稣召唤我们存留在祂内时，祂是在召唤我们和祂一起生活，与祂一起做所有的事情，我们每天做的大大小小的事情。和耶稣一起在爱与喜乐中做每件事情。

When He says that He remains in us, He reminds us that He is always with us to fill us with His life and love. Remember when you are happy or when you are sad, when you have many hard things to do and when you have many easy things to do, He is with you and wants to live with you to share your life with Him. He wants you to remain in Him as He remains in you. 

当祂说祂存留在我们内时，祂提醒我们，祂总是与我们在一起，用祂的生命和爱充满我们。请记得，无论你或喜或忧，无论你深处忧患或事事顺遂，祂与你同在，想和你一起生活，与祂分享你的生命。祂希望你存留在祂内，就像祂存留在你内一样。

正如希波主教圣奥斯定所言：因为当我们做祂所吩咐的，爱祂所应许的，就可以说祂的话存留在我们内。但是，当祂的话语停留在记忆中，而没有在生命中找到时，枝子就不算在葡萄树上，因为它没有从它的根上得到生命。只要我们存留在救主内，我们就不可能愿意做任何与我们的救恩无关的事情。

Augustine of Hippo （AD 430）：For then may His words be said to remain in us, when we do what He has commanded, and love what He has promised. But when His words remain in the memory and are not found in the life, the branches not accounted to be in the vine, because it derives no life from its root. So far as we remain in the Savior we cannot will anything that is foreign to our salvation.

真正的爱，唯在实行，不在虚言！让我们彼此相爱，存留在主内！
