Uk: У маленькому селі на заході України настала зима.
En: In a small village in western Ukraina, winter arrived.

Uk: Сніг накрив все довкола, ніби біла ковдра.
En: Snow covered everything around, like a white blanket.

Uk: На підвіконні теплий світло від гірлянд огортало затишок дому.
En: On the windowsill, the warm light from the garlands enveloped the coziness of the home.

Uk: Родина Шевченків готувалася до святкування.
En: The Shevchenko family was preparing for a celebration.

Uk: Найближчим був День святого Миколая, і цього року зібратися мала вся велика сім'я.
En: The nearest was St. Nicholas Day, and this year, the whole big family was to gather.

Uk: У кімнаті, яку прикрашала велика ялинка, запалахкотіла лампа.
En: In the room, adorned with a large Christmas tree, a lamp glowed.

Uk: За столом стояли стільці для гостей.
En: Chairs were set at the table for guests.

Uk: В кімнаті панував запах свіжої борщ, теплих пиріжків і випічки.

Uk: Артем, молодий і талановитий, сидів у своєму куточку.
