Lt: Diena buvo ilga ir šalta.
En: The day was long and cold.

Lt: Vėjo šuorai skrodė apleistus gatves, o oras dvelkė rudenio šviežumu.
En: Gusts of wind sliced through the abandoned streets, and the air carried the freshness of autumn.
