How Can I Not Make a Fool of Myself at Funerals?
Description
TRIGGER WARNING: Discussion of death, dead bodies, grief and funerals.
Death, unfortunately, is a part of life. And at some point, someone you know is going to pass and there’s going to be an end of life service. Today’s episode is to help you move through that. Bobbi Skully is a licensed funeral director in Ontario, Canada who is identifiers as “your friendly funeral service director”. She answers questions about the types of end of life services, what to wear to one, attending services where you don’t know the religious customs, and what to say to someone who’s grieving. She describes the process of planning a funeral including financing one, picking a funeral home, and taking care of yourself through it all. And because Bobbi is such a bright and fun soul, she shares some of the craziest requests she’s received and the most hilarious things she’s witnessed during a service. Put on some headphones and listen up!
