Plants can truly be a mystery. When should you water them? Are they getting enough sunlight? Omg, is that a bug?! This week’s guest Kate is a plant fairy who’s here to help! Kate, a former biology major, has worked in plant stores and is the face behind the educational Instagram The Painted Pothos! She shares some good beginner plants, how insane the world of pests can be and how to handle them, and why researching your plants is so important. Kate also digs into different types of soil, inexpensive plant tools that you probably already own, and why picking up that plant at a hardware store may not be the best idea. Make sure you have a pen and paper to take notes!
