Derek loves family, coffee, music, corn-hole, MMA, marriage and culture shaping. He is A singer/ songwriter and began writing music and performing publicly at age 10. He started leading worship 8 years later after encountering the love of God and giving his life to the Lord. He attended BSSM in 2007 and lead worship at Bethel for 5 years. In 2009 Derek teamed up with Jesus Culture and began leading worship for their conferences. In 2012 he was a part of the album Emerging Voices, his first recording with Jesus Culture Music. In 2015 Derek released his debut solo album Real Love. He is also a featured artist on the annual Jesus Culture albums. Derek travels all over the world leading worship and equipping teams to lead others into the presence of God. He has been married for 10 years and is a Father of 2 littles; Lucy and Julian.
