Captivation Question: Is there anything I could do that would cause Jesus to leave me, or even to stop loving me?

Jacob lied to his father in order to steal his birthright. His brother wanted to kill him for his manipulation. So he ran away from home. But God shows him a vision of a ladder leading to heaven, giving Jacob hope that his mistakes do not have to define him, and that Jesus can lead him where he needs to be.

So he ends up with his uncle, who lies and manipulates him for 14+ years. "God, was this part of your plan? You brought me here for a reason, right?" That reason, and more, is discussed in this episode's message. May we have the faith of Jacob, who goes on to say to God, after a tumultuous and hard life, "I will not let You go unless You bless me."
