This sixth presentation offered a re-telling of the Biblical Creation Narrative, using modern scientific information and a different "charge" to Humans with regards to God's animals, plants, species.
OUTLINE OF KEY IDEAS
1. Thirteen to Fourteen billion years ago, the universe began with a sudden explosion
2. Billions of years later, the stars, solar systems and galaxies formed - and there was Light
3. The Creator God set forth the path of all Life: birth, life, death, leading to new birth
4. Planet Earth was formed 4 1/2 billion years ago, with air, sea, and land
5. The first modern humans appeared 10,000 generations ago (200,000 years ago)
6. God gave the great Charge/Instruction
6.a. look at the stars each night
6.b. look at the world each day
6.c. see the life in the trees, the animals, birds, fish
6.d. see the Humans in your life as gifted and giving
7. Respect and partner with this world God has created
