Volunteers are the engine of every church. Without this faithful and invaluable workforce, the local church would have no horsepower and would sit lifeless and still at the starting line. In order for the Church to have massive torque and top-end speed as we race against time, we have to effectively manage the wonderful people that serve in our local churches to their maximum potential and according to the mission Jesus gave us. This involves clear communication and coordination of responsibilities. Today we want to share with you the process of onboarding volunteers, why having a job description for each volunteer is absolutely non-negotiable, and how to create a job description that serves you well.
