Abu Bakr رضي الله عنه has al-Waleed Ibn Mugheera on the verge of accepting Islam but Abu Jahl intervenes. 19 Verses were then revealed…
Nawfal Ibn Khuwaylid, the brother of Khadija رضي الله عنها. He was known as The lion of the Quraysh. He tied up Abu Bakr and Talha رضي الله عنهم to rough them up and give them some harsh words. Thus they affectionately were given the title: “al-Qarinayn” “The Two tied together”.
Nawfal was killed at Badr by Ali رضي الله عنه. Our Lion (رضي الله عنه) killed their lion.
