Squid Game Season 2 does its best to tell the story without feeling forced or repetitive, right up until the ridiculous climax that reveals its own plot. So what was the point of this elaborate narrative twist? I know everyone wants the series to continue, but without a consistent, logical plot, what value is there in it? This season is just a money-making machine for the platform, destined to continue until viewers tire of it. The show's theme of human greed seems to reflect the production's intention. It's a shame, as the series could have had a lot more depth if handled wisely. Reports are that production is already underway for seasons 3 and 4.
