3. Professor Crenshaw’s penetrating analysis compares the actors in the Justice Clarence Thomas and Brett Kavanaugh confirmation hearings. Professor Crenshaw draws the following conclusions:

A. Christine Blasey Ford and Anita Hill are both women. Therefore neither one of them was allowed to show anger when they testified.

B. However Ford is white so she was allowed to be upset. Hill is black so she was not allowed to be upset. She had to be calm and composed.

C. The men on the Senate committee disbelieved both women because they are women. However they only attacked Hill because she is black.

D. Thomas and Kavanaugh are men so, unlike the women, they were both allowed to show anger.

E. However, Thomas is black so he was not allowed to get angry directly against the white male Senators. Kavanaugh is white so he was allowed to get angry directly against the white male Senators.

1. Jim’s response:

A. Really? Clarence Thomas didn’t show anger against white male Senators? Uh, all he did was accuse them of lynching an uppity black man. Hello?

B. Is it possible the reason Ford got upset and Hill didn’t had nothing to do with race? Maybe Ford is emotional by nature, and Hill is calm and composed.

C. Professor Crenshaw says the men on both committees, i.e. in 1991 and in 2018, disbelieved both women because they are women. False. In both cases, the Democrats believed the women and the Republicans disbelieved them. Is it possible the Democrats, who wanted to believe them for political reasons, believed them, and the Republicans, who didn’t want to believe them for political reasons, didn’t? Hello?

D. These people are obsessed with race and gender psychobabble. They are living in an alternative universe divorced from reality, and it’s all they ever talk about.

1. As we look out over the political battlefield, we see the power of the social left growing. They’ve taken over many of the major organs of society. They hate heterosexual white men. They see us as oppressors. We white men need to get ready for battle.
