The media loved Obama. Unlike Trump, he was smooth, polished, and articulate. His messaging was always disciplined. His speeches were filled with euphonious phrase-mongering and empty meaningless rhetoric that made his followers and the media swoon. Trump is the opposite. He's a loud-mouthed braggart who shoots from the hip, talks like a plumber, and doesn't hesitate to attack his foes with crude insults. The media hates him.
The only advantage Trump has over Obama is that Trump's policies have been good for America. Obama never lost an opportunity to weaken the U.S. and strengthen our enemies. He supported anti-American Muslim extremists. He damaged our economy with high taxes and anti-business regulations. Trump, on the other hand, has made America strong again in foreign affairs, and rejuvenated our economy. But these things aren't important. To the shallow, superficial people in the media, style is what matters, and they hate Trump's style as much as they loved Obama's.
Although some of Trump's policies have been successful, one thing he'll never do is drain the swamp. The Deep State abides, and neither Donald Trump nor anyone else will ever dismantle it.
