This #THIRDTHURSDAY course will discuss the etiologies and different presentations of flatfoot deformities. The discussion will start by discussing pediatric flatfoot versus adult flatfoot. Discussion will include recommended treatment including conservative treatment options, including physical therapy, and surgical treatment options.


Clare Cormier, DPM, AACFAS, DABPM share insights and expertise on "Are all flat feet the same?"


What to expect: 

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:


  • Discuss pediatric versus adult flatfoot deformities 

  • Analyze different stages of flat feet

  • Evaluate appropriate treatment for flatfeet given the severity of the deformity 


About the Speaker: 

Clare Cormier, DPM, AACFAS, DABPM, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained foot and ankle reconstructive surgeon in the Chicagoland area. She currently serves patients at Neamand Foot and Ankle Center, located in Park Ridge, Illinois. Dr. Cormier graduated from Denison University with a degree in Psychology and completed her medical education from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine - graduating at the top of her class with honors.
