In Mark 2, Jesus has quickly established a public ministry of travel, teaching & healing. Now the teachers of the law have taken notice and are quite critical of his behavior in various situations.
Many questions of sin and forgiveness are addressed in these gospel stories. “Who can forgive sins but God alone?” “Why does Jesus eat with tax collectors & sinners?”
Of course, Jesus’ answers are fantastic. Our recommended Scripture reading is Mark chapters 2 & 3. Please join us this Sunday as we explore the source of criticism and the importance of forgiveness.
