The Human Recommendation is a biweekly radio show on FlirtFm 101.3 FM in Galway city showcasing the best of indie & alternative music from Ireland and around the globe. But in this special interview side project, host Damien had to opportunity to chat with Laura Balboa, a Zapotec-Mexican
immigrant who has been living in Sweden for the past thirteen years.
Laura is an independent researcher, interaction designer, radio producer, media artist and friend.
In the recent years, she has engaged in research on how sound experimentation exists and resists in the Mexican context as the producer and host of "Bulla" Radio On Radio Nopal. She has reached the milestone of broadcasting 100 episodes and she explains the inspiration behind the project.
