The Human Recommendation is a biweekly radio show on FlirtFm 101.3 FM in Galway city showcasing the best of indie & alternative music from Ireland and around the globe. But in this special interview side project, host Damien had to opportunity to chat with Bloom Effect, an exciting young trio act based in Vancouver consisting of Jula Lafit (bass/vocals), Craig Weighman (guitars), and Tom Rappa (drums).
The band have an excellent dream pop/shoegazy E.P out now called 'Portents' now. They spoke about the appeal of Vancouver, coming together as a band in a new city, the music release cycle, making music under the umbrella of #Shoegaze, and Tom bumping into a member of Radiohead.
