The Human Recommendation is a biweekly radio show on FlirtFM 101.3 in Galway city showcasing the best of indie & alternative music from Ireland and around the globe. But in this special interview side project, host Damien had to opportunity to chat with Michael Smyth from Belfast shoegaze band Virgins. Following the success of their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Nothing Hurt and Everything Was Beautiful’, they return with the intoxicating new single 'b l o o m s' via Blowtorch Records and Michael spoke about his love of music, Virgins as a band and the journey so far, making a living as a musician, his Old Crow Promotions company and never having enough fuzz pedals :)
