We caught up with Erden on Luzon Island Philippines after 10 days of bicycling before embarking on the next leg of his journey, rowing across the South China Sea to Vietnam. It was fantastic to hear about the adventure and all the incredible people he has met along the way.
Erden Eruç’s primary drive has been to highlight the plastic pollution in the ocean and the impact of humanity on fellow creatures on this earth. Erden is the first man to solo circumnavigate the globe by human power, the holder of 17 Guinness World Records, and the Founder of the nonprofit, Around-n-Over
Erden has partnered with Ocean Recovery Alliance and Exploring by the Seat of Your Pants, an outfit affiliated with National Geographic which has a network of classrooms.
