Description
Plot-wise, it doesn't really matter what happens to the Disney villains' offspring, and that isn't the primary objective of the Descendants movies on Afdah. The parents' reputation is subtly tied to the ongoing struggle between good and evil, which is also marked by envy and hatred. Additionally, a certain demographic is the target audience for the spin-off series, who will enjoy the rich, mostly computer-generated settings and visual appeal. It is quite tempting to turn on Disney Plus and dismiss this fourth Descendants installment as a cheesy clone of well-known Disney films right away.
