Sharing coffee on a cold evening
Witty banter, well past midnight
Eyes only on me, in a crowded room
A emphatic ear, to a hard life tale
Voice notes, full of fun and frolic
Long, handwritten, mushy messages
A clumsy, relaxing shoulder massage
Laughing at oneself, silly, goofy jokes
Holding hands playfully like children
Disheveled hair, lazy sleepy grin
Full sleeved shirt, folded till elbows
These are things in him that turn me on
I like him imperfect, messy, unwhole
Wake me, next to him, says my soul
