Social media is NOT marketing, there I said it. Let's get real about social media and its role in marketing.Contrary to popular belief, social media is not a magical replacement for genuine marketing strategies in the personal chef world. The reality of social media: Picture this: why do we scroll through social media? Mostly to waste time and find some entertainment, right? But here's the catch: you never really know who's actually seeing your posts amidst those endless algorithmic mysteries. And don't get me started on the fake engagement! Those likes and followers can be as phony as a store-bought soufflé. Now, let's dish out the truth: social media is more like a seasoning, not the main course of marketing. It serves as social proof, like a fancy food review platform, but it won't magically fill your cooking slots with clients. In this episode you will learn:What role social media really plays in a personal chef business that can support youThere's no magical recipe for posting frequency that guarantees a flood of income or clients. How to refocus our energy on direct communication with those hungry souls who crave our culinary expertiseEscaping the posting pressure, if it's not your jam move on!What paying clients are actually looking for to find you . . Here is what micro quitting looks like:Decide to skip - posting on social 1x Skip updating the food questionnaireSkip calling lead back when you said you wouldLate to clients house, arrive at 11am instead of 9am In this episode, I'll share the concept of micro-quitting - the small, seemingly insignificant decisions that erode trust in ourselves over time. These micro-quits can include anything from skipping a social media post to arriving late for an appointment. While these decisions may not seem like a big deal at the time, they add up quickly and can have a significant impact on our lives and businesses. The decisions we make today will ultimately place us where we want to be tomorrow. By consistently showing up and doing the hard work, even when we don't feel like it, we can overcome negative emotions and create the results we desire. The best and worst part is we do it to ourselves, most of the time without even realizing it. Hold up a mirror and identify where you are micro-quitting is the first step. Then zero in on where we need to commit to doing something else.  By taking action, whether it's marketing, visibility, selling, or being rejected, we can bridge the gap between where we are now and where we want to be. Ultimately, the key to success is consistency. By avoiding micro-quitting and committing to doing the hard work, we can achieve massive, repeatable success that translates into more opportunities and money than we know what to do with. Listen in to learn: What micro-quitting is and how it's impacting your personal chef calendar and bank account right now.Doing the hard work, even when we don't feel like it - is your KEY to avoiding micro quitting. How coaching and accountability can help identify and turn the tides around for you.The power of taking action and committing to something new even when fear is there. How to really be honest with yourselves and identify where you may be micro-quitting in their own lives.  . .
