As someone with a queer sister, Elizabeth has always felt conflicted about 🌈 p r i d e 🏳️🌈 month. On one hand, it’s awesome that so many outwardly show their support for the LGBTQIA+ community, while on the other, she cringes when she see storefronts put up their once-a-year rainbow flags, rainbow-themed retail campaigns and corporate floats in the Pride parade. She thinks to herself: Do they actually care about my sister or are they just using her sexuality as a marketing tactic? Could these companies make a greater impact if they re-allocated the funds spent on rainbow-themed paraphernalia elsewhere? She asked her sister. And although her sister doesn’t speak for the entire queer community, she shared 3 things with Elizabeth that she shares in this week's episode.

Part of being an ✨a l l y✨ is recognizing that you will fuck up. You will piss someone off. Miss something important. Research for hours, yet still somehow say the wrong thing. Breathe. None of us will get it right every time. The important part about being an ally is to continue showing up even after mishaps. To keep listening, learning, growing and taking care of each other. To figure out how to be a part of the change in your own unique way, one that is impactful and sustainable. Tune in to this week's episode for the rest of our Monday Vibes newsletter on overcoming social justice perfectionism.

Strap in for a magical show today where Elizabeth talks about her love of tarot! She gives listeners the inside scoop on how she leans on tarot to help offer the clarity and guidance she's seeking, how it's been a hell of a lot more centering than asking people for advice or tirelessly trying to come up with a solution with her logical mind, and how it’s allowed her to support people without feeling like I need to know all the answers.

Are you getting triggered AF right now as well? Tune in to hear Elizabeth's honest confession about how she's been judging the shit out of people recently, how she found herself judging the shit out of herself, and her secret to reconciling the two. Research shows we can't have compassion for others until we have compassion for ourselves. We can't accept other people's different experiences and shortcomings until we recognize those within ourselves. None of us are perfect. But, together, we can learn to stop criticizing ourselves for feeling how we feel and by doing so, we'll be less critical of others for feeling how they feel.
Word of the Week: Duality
Ask Yourself: What do you tend to judge others about? Are these things you judge about yourself as well?
Weekly Mantra: We're all doing the best we can.

Tune into this v personal episode where Elizabeth shares the backstory of how she quit her corporate job, moved across the country by herself, left her husband and all her friends behind, and embarked on a brand new career in NYC studying Clinical Psychology at Columbia with a concentration in Spirituality and Mind-Body practices and an advanced certificate in Sexuality, Women, and Gender. Elizabeth talks about how her journey led her to create Monday Vibes and all the unglamorous things she had to do to follow her dreams.
Leaping into the unknown is scary but not living your purpose is even scarier.
Word of the Week: Believe
Ask Yourself: How often does fear get in the way of chasing after your dreams? What would be possible if you allowed yourself to believe in the best thing that could happen?

Word of the Week: Selfish
Ask Yourself: What do you tend to do on your "days off"? How can you build in more time, even if it's just an hour, to do something just for you?

Do you ever feel like people are trying to suck on purpose? Do you feel bad about not feeling happy and loving all the time? Are you embarrassed by "negative" emotions like envy and frustration and anger? Tune in as Elizabeth talks about how to honor and make room for all of your emotions. It’s all okay. Envy is okay. Feeling grumpy is okay. Having a pity party is okay. Not being okay is okay. Needing space is okay.
Word of the Week: Space
Ask Yourself: Where in your life could you use a little extra space? How would creating more space allow you to honor all of your emotions - especially the dark ones - in a more loving way?
Weekly Mantra: All of my emotions are okay.

Has your heart been feeling heavy lately too? In this week's episode, Elizabeth shares her advice on how to deal with difficult emotions. Many times we try to think our way out of pain and suffering, bringing our same perfectionistic tendencies to our healing work, when what we really need is to give our hearts and minds a break. Not every emotion needs to be processed. We don't always need to know why something upset us. Sometimes we need to just let things be. Tune in to learn how the art of allowing can help us do that.
Word of the Week: Allow
Ask Yourself: Is there something that's been tugging at your heart that you can give yourself permission to just sit with, without needing to fix or change it?
Weekly Mantra: I don't always need to know why.

If you take one look around us right now, it's clear we are not only dealing with a physical health crisis but a mental health one as well. We are a society that is sick with perfectionism. Sick with the desire to control - ourselves, each other, things that are completely unknown. We don't know how to surrender. How to have faith.
Tune in to hear Elizabeth's take on what faith is, what faith isn't, and her own journey to overcome her fears of uncertainty and cultivate a sense of faith. If you've always wondered why uncertainty feels so icky and what the research is behind perfectionism, this show is for you.
Word of the Week: Faith
Ask Yourself: How comfortable am I with uncertainty? What do I need to feel safe and supported right now?
Weekly Mantra: I can only control so much.

Have you been feeling disempowered lately with everything going on with COVID-19? Me too.
Tune in to hear why we can all support each other better when we realize we are not here to rescue other people. Other people don't need to be rescued. We are here to rescue ourselves and, in by doing so, we can show others how to do the same.
That's what radical self-love is all about. Knowing the difference between rescuing vs. empowering. Knowing your triggers and shadows. Knowing your needs and how to communicate those. Knowing your limitations and boundaries. Knowing your desires. It all starts with you. That's how we take our power back. When we stop looking outside ourselves for answers and start trusting our own inner authority.
Word of the Week: Reclaim
Ask Yourself: What do you need right now? Space? Sleep? Hugs? Social media detox? Business support? Call with your bff? Play? A walk?
Weekly Mantra: I know how to take care of myself.

Do you constantly feel the need to justify yourself? Is it hard for you to stay in your power and do what is best for you (even when you risk disappointing others)? Do you wish you didn't overanalyze every little detail of your life and instead, could live with more ease, flow, and confidence?
Listen to Elizabeth's own journey with releasing the need to prove everything in her life and how much liberation she found when she started to tune into her body instead. There's something powerful about learning to trust your inner authority instead of always looking outside for external approval.
Word of the Week: Awareness
Ask Yourself: Do you find yourself needing someone else to validate your decisions? How would your life be different if you stopped justifying yourself?
Weekly Mantra: I don't need to justify myself.

Do any of you struggle with trusting your intuition? Discerning intuition from ego? Quieting the noises that invalidate your feelings and make you think your intuition is wrong? In this episode, Elizabeth shares a true story about how she used her spidey senses to locate a fire in her building.
Stay tuned to learn why highly sensitive people have a unique role in protecting the tribe, and at the same time, can feel a little bit like they are going crazy since no one else seems clued in to the same information as them.
