The invention came from a desire from her to dye her hair, but last time her hair fell out. She experimented for months until she finally found a solution which worked for her. When people in her circle noticed, she shared with them the product and eventually started selling it. Electra talks about how she worked a 9-5 job in her first year as an entrepreneur and she viewed it as her investor. When she’d come home, she would work on her own business and got her kids to stop her at a certain time.
