The horrific events narrated in Judges 19 make it one of the most difficult chapters to read in all of Scripture. It reveals the depth of human depravity and what many women even today have to face in this dark world. Only in facing this unsettling and troubling truth can we begin to seek the remedy God offers in the revelation of his Son, Jesus Christ. The good news is that our Lord and Saviour is the king who solves this darkness.
