Having insights and experiences by short cylce iterations – this principle has not only proven itself in agile management practices and design thinking. Also the Deming cycle including plan, do, check has understood the added value and learning effect of a continuous improvement. Nowadays, we are encouraged to get into a testing phase faster and thus receiving customer and quality feedback faster as well. This does not only increase the customer orientation, but also the culture of appreciating mistakes and learning.

For us, the essential part of iterative working and developing is awareness in the form of reflection. Eventually, reflections are again integrated as inherent part into short cycle loops in the form of retrospectives, reviews in agile settings and others.
