Puts a human face on a sorry mess
This article fleshes out the background and family of Immigration Agent Zapata who was executed on a Mexican highway with a gun that was purchased in America. It falls short of a critical analysis of what could have prevented his murder. It leaves doubt as to whether the man found guilty is even the trigger man. There is no call for action and no drum beating condemnation of the US Government gun smuggling operation, Fast and Furious.

SICKENING!
As time has passed and this incident has been buried, it becomes obvious that our current administration has never intended to fully investigate this murder and bring those responsible to justice. That this fine young agent has died in vain is an abomination for which there will never be an answer, mainly because no one is looking for one. I am apalled and disgusted by the apparent inability of Washington to even look closely at this terrible crime because one of their own is deeply implicated and should be prosecuted. This was an eye opening account of the sad death of a fine young man!!!

Time waster
I found this to be bit of a chore to get through. While it's not long it's very wordy. The closer you get to the end the more political it gets so the more boring it gets.

Good reporting
The author is an excellent investigative reporter.
The book tells it like it was. Quite factual and
interesting material. Congratulatlions!

Good story but too short.
It never ceases to amaze me the danger that these agent put themselves into. I would never have the guts to do it.
