Barry is originally from Cavan and now living in Athlone. He is 18 months off the booze. He performs as the formidable Drag Artist Tess Tickles. Barry recalls how moving to London really accelerated his drinking and how he came to a point 18 months ago where he was DONE WITH BOOZE. We chat about how he navigates being a gay man who doesn't drink in a notoriously alcohol-fuelled scene.
