Hi: हिमालय की ऊँची चोटियों के बीच बसा एक छोटा सा गाँव था।
En: Nestled among the high peaks of the Himalaya was a small village.

Hi: इस गाँव का नाम था 'शांतिपुर'।
En: This village was called Shantipur.

Hi: यहाँ की हवा में सरसों के फूलों की महक और पहाड़ों के ठंडे मौसम का आनंद था।
En: The air here was filled with the fragrance of mustard flowers and the enjoyment of the cold mountain weather.

Hi: इस मौसम में पतझड़ की रंग-बिरंगी पत्तियाँ हवा में तैर रही थीं।

Hi: गाँव के लोग अपनी दीयों से सजी थालियों के साथ दिवाली की तैयारी में जुटे थे।
