EP 1223 - Reviewing Your Year As A Sports Parent
Update: 2024-12-25
Description
Welcome to episode 1223 and in this episode, we discussed about reviewing your year as a sports parent.
As the year comes to a close, take a moment to review your journey as a sports parent. Think about the moments that brought joy, the challenges that tested your patience, and the valuable life lessons learned along the way. How did you support your child’s passion, balance commitments, and foster their growth on and off the field?
Reflection not only highlights the progress made but also sets the stage for greater goals in the coming year.
Things you need to do in reviewing the year as a sports parent:
1. Understand that it is more about your child than it is about you.(Using this percentage 70:30 )
2. You need to review based on where your child is coming from & not where they are going
3. Don't compare them to other kids.
4. Seat with your child and ask questions.
5. You need to use the MSP framework.
